Trusting our Intuition

Trusting our intuition is about knowing that we are all intuitive. It is a natural sense that we have been endowed with by the Divine, the sixth sense. Our intuition always guides us to what is best for us. Trust in that truth!

We develop our natural intuition or psychic abilities by using intention, inner silence, listening, trusting and following the guidance from within .Intuition is the by-product of being on a spiritual path and doing our spiritual practices of meditation, prayer, self love and more.

I Listened to My Intuition

It was quite an eventful summer in 2007. I experienced a miracle first hand when I listened to my intuition.My teenage daughter and I visited my oldest daughter and my grandson in upstate NY for three weeks in July of that year.

On Wednesday July 18, my two daughters and I went to New York City for a day of shopping. We drove to Tarrytown and parked the car at a meter, depositing enough change so that we could park until 6:45 p.m. We then took the train into Grand Central Station at 42^nd Street and Lexington Avenue.

We spent the day shopping on 34^th Street. When I looked at my watch at 4:45 p.m. a very strong urge to leave the city came over me. I listened to my intuition as the powerful intuitive urge to leave became even stronger.

I listened to my intuition and told my two daughters that we had to leave immediately. They followed me as we trotted through the streets of the city back to Grand Central Station.

Finally we ran through the doorway into Grand Central Station. As we ran onto the train the doors literallyslammed shut behind us. We just made it on the 5:18 p.m. train back to Tarrytown.

We arrived at Tarrytown, got into the car, drove to Nyack to visit my brother and his wife before heading back upstate. The news was on the television. Just before 6 pm that evening there was an explosion in an underground pipeline at 41^st Street and Lexington Avenue.It caused a crater in the street and one person was killed. The trains were shut down at Grand Central Station in case of further explosions. We had gotten on the last train to Tarrytown about a half-hour before the explosion which was just a block away.

Thankfully I listened to my intuition. The key is to pay attention to it and follow it even when it makes no sense to us. The more we listen to our intuition the stronger it gets.

The rational mind is limited. Our intuition is the direct link to the guidance of our higher power which is unlimited. Trust it. Trust yourself. Trust in Source. All things are possible for those who believe.
