Maureen will guide you into two meditations – a powerful longer one and a shorter one for when you are in a time crunch. In both meditations you will experience ‘filling your inner lamp.” You will receive practical help in answer to some of your questions about the challenges that you experience in your meditation practice. Maureen will use her meditation CD Collaboration in Spirit (available at Mirabai) to assist you as you go deeper within.
Cost: $20 if registered and prepaid by Jan. 25th; $25 if registering after the 25th.
Teacher Bio: Maureen Brennan Mercier has been a Healer, Reader, Meditation teacher for over 29 years and has helped many people in all areas of their lives. While taking a meditation class in the summer of 1983 Maureen discovered her gift of channeling and began her spiritual journey. Maureen’s new found connection with her higher power helped her through the tragic death of her husband only weeks later. Raising two children alone and overcoming other challenges throughout her life has given Maureen more strength, compassion and emotional intelligence. Her love of people and her great passion for life continually inspire her work.
Our Inner Lamp
Each time we meditate we add a drop of oil toour inner lamp. One drop alone is hardly noticeable. Consistently meditating over time enriches our life as it fills our lamp to brim withoil. Our thoughts no longer control us. Instead we develop a relationship with the master within, our higher power.
This awareness of our true nature andour inner lampis the seat of our empowerment as a spiritual being. We become more aware of our own energy and our place in the world. Innate gifts within reveal themselves to us in the moment. Our world opens up to us with unlimited possibilities.
