Our Inner Lamp

Each time we meditate we add a drop of oil to our inner lamp. One drop alone is hardly noticeable. Consistently meditating over time enriches our life as it fills our inner lamp to brim with oil. Our thoughts no longer control us. Instead we develop a relationship with the master within, our Higher Power.

This awareness of our true nature and our inner lamp is the seat of our empowerment as a spiritual being. We become more aware of our own energy and our place in the world. Innate gifts within reveal themselves to us in the moment. Our world opens up to us with unlimited possibilities and abundance on all levels.

Meditation

Meditation is a powerful spiritual tool. It is the first step to the conscious awareness of our Divine self. That is why it is the most important practice in our series of spiritual practices. When we practice meditation we focus the mind on the breath. As a result we are able to feel our own energy and spirit. The thoughts are no longer in control distracting us from who we truly are, spirit in physical form.

Through simple techniques learned in meditation such as focusing on the breath, we center within. Stress, fear, doubt and limiting beliefs naturally fall away as our vibration is raised to a higher level over time. Feeling more relaxed and calm is also a benefit of our daily meditation practice.

With a regular practice of meditation we have the ability to go within to access our intuition. The still small voice within comes from the source and it always guides us to our highest and best potential. This is one of the powerful gifts of adding oil to our inner lamp when we consistently practice meditation daily. We owe it to ourselves to receive the many benefits of our spiritual practice of meditation.
