Aspiritual salonis a small group of people having an intimate spiritual conversation about everyday life with the channel who accesses divine guidance for them.
Spiritual Salon with Maureen at Mirabai of Woodstockstarts with a guided meditation that supports the participant in grounding, running their energy and clearing their sacred space within. Then I channel guidance for the group. Each person can then ask a personal question and receive channeled guidance in answer to their question.
Our Inner Lamp
Each time we meditate we add a drop of oil toour inner lamp. One drop alone is hardly noticeable. Consistently meditating over time enriches our life as it fills our lamp to brim withoil. Our thoughts no longer control us. Instead we develop a relationship with the master within, our higher power.
This awareness of our true nature andour inner lampis the seat of our empowerment as a spiritual being. We become more aware of our own energy and our place in the world. Innate gifts within reveal themselves to us in the moment. Our world opens up to us with unlimited possibilities.
Our Sacred Space
Let’s find a quiet place,our sacred spacewithout distractions for ourmeditation. Ideally ameditationroom would be wonderful or a designated side of a room. Turn off the phones, and let loved ones know that this is our sitting time and that we are not to be disturbed for about 20 minutes. This is about our commitment to our own well being and what works for us.
Our sacred spaceneeds to have a cushion or chair for us to sit on comfortably. Try different cushions and chairs and see what feels good. It is important for our body to relax so that we can let go and focus. If our body is uncomfortable we will be distracted. Simple yoga stretches help to prepare the body for sitting during our session.
Breathe
Breatheand relax then take three cleansing breaths as we begin to bring our focus within us. Continue tobreathenice and easy as we keep our focus on each breath.
When our mind becomes activated we bring our thoughts back to the moment relaxing as we continue tobreathe. Pay attention to the spaces between the breaths. All we have is this moment and our breath. All is well.
We are Spirit
Remember who we are.Weare spirit. Know that we are beautiful beings of love and light. Our essence is love.
We are not our body. We are not our mind. We are not our feelings.We are spirit.
