Grounding in the Earth each day is an important part of our daily practice as a jewel for self discovery. We are spirit having a human experience on planet earth. Our divinity is expressed through our bodies in the material plane and as a part of Divine Creating.
In order to be fully present we need to begrounding in the earth so that we are fully planted in Goddess Gaia. Then we are more balanced in our chakras or energy centers and able to be fully in the earth.
Grounding in the earth supports the marriage of our Divine self with our human self. It is not enough to be conscious of our spirit. Grounding helps us to be here now in our bodies, the sacred temple. It is an important step before meditation.
Grounding Process
The grounding process begins by visualizing your feet like the roots of thetree going deep into Mother Earth and anchoring at thecenter of the earth. Then drop a cord from the spacebetween your two pelvic bones down into the center ofthe earth. Let go of what you are ready to release from within you down the cord into the earth. At the same time bring upthrough the soles of your feet loving nurturing Goddess Gaia energy, up your legs to your pelvic area and then down the cord back into Mother Earth.
As you continue the grounding process go tocenter of your head, your sacred space, release other people’s energy from there,sending them down a water shoot. Go to the top of your head, the crown chakra. Reach way up andabove to the cosmos, tapping into wonderful cosmicenergy.
Bring this powerful energy down through top of your head, downyour back to the pelvic area, back up to your throat. See some energy going down your arms, andthen up to the top of your head where it fountainsout. Let these two energies continue to cycle within youwhere you let go of the old energies while opening to newenergy thus healing all the chakras.
To complete the grounding process visualize alarge Sun above your head that is drawing back in allthe parts of yourself that you have disowned.
Then crack the Sun open like an egg and pour yourenergy into the top of your head so that you arefilled up with your own wonderful essence.Do this grounding process daily and feel more empowered and healed fromwithin.
We are Divine beings of love and light living on planet earth. Grounding in the earth supports the balance of our divinity with our humanity. This harmony allows us to continue to grow and express the beauty of our God/Goddess self in the material plane in union with Goddess Gaia, our Mother Earth. And so it is.
