My New Year Resolution – love self more feels so empowering and simple. What a concept. I feel lighter and more excited now about the New Year and new possibilities.
In the past I would have a long list of New Year resolutions to be implemented at the start of the year. By the end of January I was frustrated. When I was unable to make any changes in my life I felt like a failure. The problem was that I started out from a place of feeling like I wasn’t good enough, I wasn’t enough.
With thisNew Year Resolution – love self moreit feels way different. I get to put myself first in a different way, from a place of love and acceptance. Now I am moving toward increasing self love. How wonderful is that?!!
It is important to schedule in each day simple things to do for self that are focused on self love. For example take time to read, walk, take a long bath, call an old friend, have a cup of tea, get a massage. Ask self what you need to feel more balanced and loved by self.
Self Love
Self loveis essential for us to live as the spirit beings that we are, having a human experience.So many of us focus on seeking love from outside of ourselvesthrough our relationships with parents, friends, intimate partners and children. We all want to give and receive love.
When we by-passself loveand search for love from others first, we hinder our growth and development as spiritual beings. The place to begin first and foremost on our spiritual journey is withself love.
Our Essence is love
Our essence is love. God is love. We being a child of God means that we are love made manifest in flesh. We need to receive our birthright of love and affection.
We are here to live love unconditionally in every moment asour essence is loveitself. This is quite a challenge as we are human as well as Divine. Our spirit is willing and the flesh is often weak.
Selflovebridges our humanity with our divinity.When we love ourselves we are loving Spirit and all of our brothers and sisters in the universe. The pathway to being your true essence and living it isself love. My New Year resolution – love self more!
