When we practice prayerwehonor our spirit by consciously aligning with the Source within us through direct communication with the Divine. No middle man is needed. We begin to feel peaceful, calm and centered as a result of our prayers.
Thereare many ways topray. Repeating a standard prayerthat we learned as a child,creating a new prayer or simply talking to God in our own words are the main ways to connect with Goddess.
Start Our day with Prayer
We can talk to Spirit in the morning as a positive way to start our day with prayer. Setting an intention for the day supports us in living more consciously. Prayers of gratitude shift our attitude and uplift us.
Each day when we start our day with prayerwe canname our family, friends, all of humanity and Mother Earth. One by one we can put them all in God’s handswhich allows us to continue to let go. As a result we are free to be more present in our life.
When we start our day with prayers wedirect Spirit to what we need help with in our lives. Then we feel more supported in letting go and letting God be in charge of all our affairs. The Universe loves and supports us and wants us to be happy.
Surrendering
Surrendering ourcontrol and allowing the Universe to work in our lives is what is involved indaily prayers. When we let go and allow God to have control we are letting go of limiting beliefs.
Admitting our powerlessness is part of the process ofsurrenderingto our Higher Power. It is very humbling. The truth is we are powerless over everyone and everything in our lives. We can only control our own thoughts, attitudes and behaviors.
When we acknowledge our powerlessness and practicesurrenderingto Spirit we are set free to live fully in the moment. We can then trust that God is taking care of us and guiding us to what is best for uson all levels.
Through the daily practiceof prayer we are more consciously in alignment with our the true nature and that is Divine!
